About Jennifer

Jennifer Elder is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Westlake Village, California. She has over 30 years experience working with individuals, teens, couples and families.  As a certified IMAGO therapist, Jennifer works with couples and parents to deepen communication, resolve conflict and rediscover the joy of being together.

In addition to her private practice, she is active in the community as a speaker at local schools and organizations. She also conducts workshops for couples, parents, and teens in Westlake Village and surrounding cities.

While completing her Masters at Cal State Northridge, she interned at the San Fernando Valley Child Guidance Clinic. Upon graduating she became a staff therapist in the Child Abuse Division and for 10 years worked with children, teens and their families.  Jennifer gained valuable experience in group therapy and supervised many interns on their way to becoming therapists.

Personally, Jennifer has been married to her husband for over 30 years, and they have four children.
